Very friendly staff, clean and comfortable rooms, home-like living room, close to supermarket and McDonald's, not far from city center, great facilities.
Everything was spot on.

Super clean, nice, and friendly. Great place overall! Will definitely stay here again.
No toilet paper in communal bathroom -- awkward!

This place inside is more like a 5 star hotel than a hostel. I have, never ever been to a hostel like this, honestly I have been to many 5# hotels that were not this good.
This place was spoilt by the attitude of the girl working there. We did not click however this is no excuse for anybody to be rude and ignorant especialy to someone paying. To be fair she was fine with other guests it was just me! So if you want a good time just agree that the all blacks are the greatest and that England cheated over a bloody ball!! The area is in a nice area however just round the corner is( I was told after I was followed....) worst ghetto in nz ( however compared to most places its tame even at night.

I recently had a fantastic stay at a hotel in Christchurch that exceeded my expectations. the hotel provided great value for money, with affordable prices for their comfortable rooms. I was impressed by the attention to detail throughout the hotel, from the basic amenities provided to the well-maintained rooms. One particular detail that stood out to me was the cozy fireplace in the bedrooms, which added a lovely touch to the overall ambiance. Additionally, the hotel's location in a quiet suburban neighborhood was perfect for a peaceful stay, away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The friendly staff and their excellent service further enhanced my experience. It was evident that they took pride in their work and genuinely cared about the guests' satisfaction. Furthermore, the hotel's breakfast was delicious and offered a great start to each day.
In terms of improvement, I can confidently say that all aspects of my stay at this hotel were satisfactory.

Friendly staff, everything we needed plus extras, had a great time, would stay again.
Unfortunately the two days we were there there seemed to be a problem witht he hot water and it wasn't until the second day that a hot shower was provided for us downstairs in the laundry area.

Staff friendliness was brill! Went out of their way to make us feel welcome and at ease!
Nothing to complain about. We actually wanted to stay longer but couldn't as the place was booked out which just shows the places popularity.

The hostel was clean and had a quiet environment. The lounge was cozy and had a great fireplace. One of the advantages of the location was that it was close to several places to buy food and eat.
The hostel was a bit far from the CBD and the bus took around 20 minutes to get there. the cost was not worth the distance from the centre.

We loved staying at this hotel! From the moment we arrived, the staff greeted us warmly and were incredibly helpful throughout our stay. The facilities were excellent and very clean, including the common areas, kitchen, and bathrooms. Additionally, the location was great - we easily took a cab to the city center and found the neighborhood to be quiet.
Nothing to fault.

The level of luxary in the rooms. They were well kitted out and warm. The shower facilities were top notch and the lounge area welcoming and inviting. A great place to stay.
The location was on the far side of town and a bit of a walk to buses. Not great when alone at night as not well lit. Once you get the lay of the land it's not so bad and the level of luxary more than makes up for it's location.

The hotel is located within walking distance of several restaurants, a Chinese restaurant, fish n chip bar, and a supermarket. the twin room is immaculate, and the shared bathrooms are always clean and tidy. the lounge area has a log burner and provides a warm feeling.
The hotel is not located in the city center, making it a bit difficult to find, especially if arriving late at night.

Friendly staff, comfort and cleanliness of room and facilities, free wifi.
City center only reachable by bus or car and this is still complicated due to constructions going on after earthquakes (Re Start in CBD is still worth the visit!)
